What amazing photography skills by Heather Trzuskowski, who miraculously captured this phenomenal shot while cruising along I-80 in Iowa at 70 mph.
Thanks again for yet another great photograph Heather!
It does make me wonder about the pet’s safety while traveling in this standard Sherpa bag. Although I can see this little hooded guy (or gal) is attached with the safety harness inside the pet carrier and it looks like the carrier is also attached to the bike, is that enough?
There are motorcycle pet carriers like these at PetFrenzy.com that pet parents can strap to themselves, although something more sturdy would be more ideal. Oddly enough, Frank T. Destro Jr., a custom upholstering company in Ohio, makes custom motorcycle pet carriers but it must have the bike temporarily to properly design the patterns for a true custom fit. If you’re not up for sending your bike to Ohio, then check out the motorcycle pet carrier at Scoot Works.
A dog helmet would be nice as well. There are some vanity ones on the market, such as these at Rock Star Puppy, which makes made-to-order helmets and will add a custom design.
Remember, your pet’s safety is as important as yours.
